2 Lads Wine Sensory Evaluation - Visit the lads for an afternoon of tasting, a bit of wine science and most importantly -- fun! We'll demonstrate proper tasting techniques (so that's why wine geeks swirl their glass!), discuss the various components of wine (why do we need that tannin?), then tease and train your palate with some wines we've doctored just enough to emphasize these sensory elements (so that's acidity!!) With your newly enlightened palate, we'll put it straight to use with a varied wine flight which includes multiple varietals, winemaking styles, and, of course, those same wine components we've just learned to recognize.
A great exercise in sensory training for the novice and seasoned enthusiast alike. You'll come away with a much greater understanding of the components that make up a great glass of wine.
Scheduled Speaker: Caryn Chachulski, 2 Lads Wine Educator and Enology Graduate from Fresno State University
Class begins at 6pm on Friday, September 10 and lasts approximately 2 hours.
Tickets are $25 each and space is limited so please call and reserve your seat today.
Call the Winery 231-223-7722 or email us with any questions or to reserve your seats. |
