Shady Lane Cellars is located on a historic 150-acre farm between Traverse City and Suttons Bay on the Leelaneau Peninsula. Strategically situated to benefit from the meso climate created by Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay, it is a prime vineyard site. Our cool climate creates spectacular fall colors and our deliciously vibrant wines crafted by our winemaker Adam Satchwell. Shady Lane Cellars focuses on the Riesling grape, producing award winning Dry Riesling, Semi-Dry Riesling and a Sparkling as well. Other exceptional table wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Rosé, Cabernet Franc, Gewurztraminer, Late Harvest Vignoles and Cherry Port as well as a variety of proprietary blends.
