Peninsula Cellars is a family run winery located on the Old Mission Peninsula, just north of Traverse City, Michigan. Our philosophy toward wine making has always been very minimalistic, allowing the regional expression to come through. The sun, the rain, the wind, and the soil, all under the watchful eye of the grower work together to produce our award winning wines. Some varieties available for tasting include Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.

MBTB Tasting Room unites the founders of MichiganByTheBottle.com with six Michigan wineries to bring a taste of the state's far-flung wine trails to metro Detroit. Our focus is on high-quality wines produced by our six partner wineries -- Chateau Aeronautique, Chateau de Leelanau, Domaine Berrien Cellars, Gill's Pier Vineyard & Winery, Peninsula Cellars and Sandhill Crane Vineyards -- using their estate-grown and/or locally sourced grapes. We aim to make wine fun and accessible to all, from the causal consumer to the avid aficionado, from seasoned travelers of Michigan's wine trails to those experiencing what the state has to offer for the very first time.
