Bay View Wine Trail

  • The gales of November often wash Petoskey stones onto the beach of Petoskey State Park, great for winter time rock hunting!
  • Oden Fish Hatchery Visitor Center is an all ages experience, with a show pond and an in-river viewing chamber that is ever-changing. The Visitor Center closes Oct. 31, but the hatchery does offer tours year-round.

Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail

  • Take a hike around and tour the interior of the Felt Estate located next to Saugatuck Dunes, especially during their holiday special events.
  • Enjoy a crisp, winter sunset over Lake Michigan after a short hike up the trail at Warren Woods.

Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail and Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula

  • Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is not to be missed!
  • Cross Country skiers should make a plan to ski the infamous Vasa trail to glide in the path of ski legends who have competed in the International race with the same name.
