If you establish vineyards in Michigan, please register with the Michigan office of the U.S. Department of Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), 517-324-5300, or complete this form so you can "make sure your acreage counts" by participating in upcoming producer surveys. It is important to document the growth of the industry and report up-to-date aggregated acreage information to compare the Michigan wine industry with that of other states. By federal law, any information you report to NASS in periodic grower and processor surveys remains confidential, even with respect to other federal agencies.
